2021 KNCDC Season Program
The parentheses are used to distinguish or emphasize a certain part in a sentence. This punctuation mark is used to replace "0" from the year "2021" as the graphic identity of the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company's 2021 Season Open. The parenthesis, as a tool, draws the audience's attention and presents KNCDC's eight new programs and messages for the year 2021. We created eight abstract shapes for each program, and are used throughout various platforms such as posters and Instagram.
‘2021’의 “0”을 문장부호인 괄호 “()”로 치환하여 국립현대무용단의 2021 시즌 오픈을 위한 그래픽 아이덴티티를 제작하였다. 괄호는 문장에서 어느 부분을 다른 부분과 구별하거나 강조하기 위하여 사용된다. 괄호 그래픽은 관객들의 이목을 집중시키는 동시에 2021년 국립현대무용단이 풀어낼 8개의 새로운 프로그램과 메세지들을 전달하는 역할을 한다. 8개의 공연으로 이루어진 2021년 시즌 프로그램을 위한 8분할 그리드위에 추상적인 기하도형 그래픽을 제작하였으며 이 그래픽은 포스터와 전단, 인스타그램 이미지 제작시 도형의 갯수와 크기를 조절하여 다양하게 사용된다.
