2018 Title Match — Hyung koo Lee vs. Min Oh
We created a Venn diagram as a prime tool for the exhibition identity with three names: Hyungkoo Lee, Min Oh and 2018 Title Match. These three names represent what people will see at the exhibition and the shape of the Venn diagram shows the form of this exhibition. We applied this tool in three different ways by using it entirely, separately and as an image. The Venn diagram represents the exhibition, segments are used for information on each artist and section, and lastly, segments with images give naked looks on promotional materials.
이형구, 오민, 2018 타이틀매치 이 세 개의 이름을 모아 다이어그램을 만들고 이를 이용해 전시 아이덴티티를 만들었다. 위 이름들은 본 전시에서 보게 될 것들에 대한 상징이다. 그 상징을 이용해 만든 형태(다이어그램), 그리고 이 형태의 활용(교집합으로 묶여 전시 전체의 상징이 된다던지, 개별자로 각 섹션에 대한 구분자가 된다던지, 혹은 그 안에 직접적인 이미지가 담겨 홍보물을 위한 다른 형태의 다이어그램이 된다던지 하는)을 활용해 본 전시의 홍보물을 제작했다. 홍보물의 성격을 구분해, 전시장 내부에서는 각 상징의 이름 낱자를 이용한 다이어그램을, 전시장 외부에서는 직접적인 이미지를 이용한 다이어그램을 사용했다.
